微软Windows和Windows Live部门主管Steven Sinofsky,此前曾公开表示，Windows 7已经进入RC阶段了，自Windows 7 Beta Build 7000之后的版本都属于RC分支。而正式版的Windows 7 RC可能要等到5月。

不过，有国外媒体报道，微软将会于本月底在俄国市场开展一次小范围的Windows 7地区性测试。上周，微软官方曾放出Windows 7 RC的TechNet页面，包括英语、德语、日语、法语和西班牙语。但并未提及俄国版本，当然，也没中文版。

据透露，此测试版本也属于Windows 7 的RC分支，将会通过Microsoft Connect提供给测试者。至于这个版本有啥不同，现在也不得而知，反正按照惯例，到时肯定会有种子泄露，再耐心等等吧。

Just because Microsoft is reportedly planning mini-beta releases of Windows 7 does not mean that the Redmond company is sidetracking from the original plans for the next iteration of the Windows client.
