 由于Windows 7 Beta发布后的热潮和用户的一贯好评，很多人已经开始想象Windows 7正式版发布时反响会怎样。

尽管现在说这个还为时过早，但一些组织和个人已经开始发表自己的观点了。比如，著名调研机构Garter的分析师Michael Silver，他认为跟Vista相比，无论是在消费市场和企业市场，Windows 7的表现都要比Vista好得多。

“肯定会更好。Vista臭名声摆在那，Windows 7 想要不好点都难，尽管Vista并不是像他的臭名声那样差劲。而随着微软停止对Windows XP的主流支持，企业肯定会开始考虑升级到Windows 7 。”

而此前Garter的报告也曾指出企业用户并不需要等待Windows SP1，这对企业用户而言，可以说是很大的诱惑了。
