 2001年10月，微软发布了Windows XP，而现在XP走到了生命的重点，但依然有很多人在坚守这款系统，而Vista发布后，整个WIndows系统市场更是一团糟了。

在2007年1月Vista发布时，几乎所有PC厂商都抛弃了XP转投Vista，而在2008年6月，主流厂商都没法再继续销售XP了。目前对消费者而言，有两件事需要注意：

第一，上个月最后一批XP订购已经结束并将在今年七月部署完毕，也就是说七月后就没有XP了。

第二，XP最多只能识别3.25G左右的内存，因为XP没有64位版本。而现在越来越多的机器预装的都是4G以上的内存了，而且64位也将成为主流了。

这样的趋势很明显，最近几个月，50%售出的PC都是预装的64位Vista，而上个月这一比列更是达到了75%。但另一个选择又要来了，根据最新的消息，Windows 7正式版最快可能会在8月即可发布，也就是说，再坚持几个月，就可以跳过Vista了。

随着Windows 7的越来越近，Windows 7会带来两个结果，一是彻底让用户脱离XP，二是让用户为了跳过Vista而更加坚守XP。
