 当初微软发布Vista时，就曾声称通过部署Windows Vista，企业可节省在IT方面的开支。而现在轮到Windows 7，微软依然在强调这一点，而鉴于目前严峻的经济形势，微软的这张牌似乎更加强有力。

Windows 7带来了一系列的新特性，这些特性大大提高了企业的管理能力。而微软也称在Windows 7中，至少有11项特性可大大削减企业的IT开支，这些特性主要涉及到WIndows 7在自动化、管理性和自动诊断和修复方面的改进。

1. Microsoft Windows PowerShell 2.0 允许管理员通过本地或远程计算机运行脚本，这样一来，高负荷和重复的工作就可以通过自动化来完成了

2. Group Policy  通过组策略脚本，管理员可以轻松对组策略项和基于注册表的设置进行自动化操作。

3. Built-in Windows Troubleshooting Packs 允许终端用户利用内置的自我诊断和修复系统对系统进行自我诊断和修复

4. Improvements to the System Restore 系统还原功能可轻松帮助用户还原到正常状态

5.The new Problem Steps Recorder 以截图方式向微软递交报告

6. Improvements to the Resource Monitor and Reliability Monitor 通过此功能，管理员可迅速对性能，可靠性等方面进行检测

7. AppLocker 轻松通过组策略实现对程序的控制

8. Auditing improvements 管理员可通过此功能对对系统进行更详细的审查

9. Administrators 管理员可利用BitLocker To Go进行加密操作

10. Group Policy 这个就不用说了，最有用的就是这个了

11. DirectAccess 允许管理员对接入网络的每一台计算机进行监控

When it was launching Windows Vista, one of the strong focuses for Microsoft was to get across the financial advantages of the operating system. The Redmond company is doing it again, this time with Windows 7, and the context could not be more adequate. Fact is that the global economic crisis provides fertile soil for an operating system capable of helping companies save money compared to the current platform deployed in their IT infrastructures. Without taking into consideration the costs associated with licensing Windows 7, Microsoft is promising that the manageability evolution of the operating system is capable of reducing Total Cost of Ownership.
