 没错，正如此前Vista，Vista SP1，Windows Server 2008和Windows Server 2003的版本一样，Internet Explorer 8 RC1的WIndows 7版已经开发完成了。但与此前的Vista版本不同的是，微软不会放出此版本的下载。因为该版本将作为Windows 7 Build 7025的默认组件集成到系统中去。

对此，微软IE部门经理Dean Hachamovitch称“IE 8 RC仅供Windows Vista, XP, 和Server使用。而WIndows 7 Beta用户将会在下一次更新中获取更新版的IE 8。 ”

因此，Windows 7 Beta用户想体验IE 8 RC的话，估计就要等到将来某个WIndows 7 RC Build 70XX版本了。
