 看着一款操作系统由不成熟的Vista走向杰出的Windows 7就像看着自己的孩子长成一个翩翩美少年一样令人喜悦。也曾有人说我出尔反尔，从讨厌微软到喜欢微软，因为此前我是写有关Mac的文章的，而昨天我还在说：“忘了Mac，拥抱Windows 7吧！”无可否认，Windows 7正在逐渐成型，而且对于那些因为种种原因不能忍受Vista的人而言，很难找到讨厌Windows 7的理由。

Windows的优点：

*稳定性。虽然是Pre-beta版本，但运行起来更流畅，同时消耗的内存更少，占用的硬盘空间更小。
*观赏性。毫无疑问Windows 7看起来很舒服，同时用起来也很爽。
*功能性。XPS阅读器使得用户可以离线阅读便携文档，而且所有程序的所有组件都升级了。

Windows 7的缺点：

从另一方面看来，Windows 7还是个半成品。

*仍然没有在线通知功能。
*依然没有完整的时间框架。
*仍然没有摆脱Vista的影子。

不过，值得肯定的是，Windows 7中增加了一系列学生相关的功能，拥有全新界面的计算器，加入了一系列日常生活中的实用功能，如重量和长度换算等，另外，对于使用写字板功能的用户而言，还有数学模式可供选择。

这样看来，我不得不承认，Windows 7确实做得很好，当然，我还在期待着它的Beta版本。

Windows 7 is taking shape, and for those who can’t stand Vista for all the reasons they have, will find it difficult to hate Windows 7.

For those who hate anything Microsoft related because its Microsoft related, well you can’t please everybody.

To quickly run through what it has and doesn’t have (because I really want to go to bed):

    * It has stability. It may be a pre-beta but it’s been running brilliantly with little memory usage, minimal disk usage and no slow-downs.
    * It has style. There’s no doubt it looks good, and it feels good when using it. It’s swish, swift, smooth and suave.
    * It has features, here there and everywhere. With sticky notes on the desktop, an XPS viewer which lets you read portable documents outside Internet Explorer, and it has updated every element of every application so far.
