 起初，我们曾报道Windows 7 RTM将会在7月13日正式停止开发，并将会在当日的全球合作伙伴大会上公布，当然，Windows 7的开发一切顺利，内部也有人透露称将确定在7月13日发布。

但现在看来，似乎是程序上出了些问题，据推测，很有可能是因为Windows 7的激活和防破解问题。因为，目前网络流传的一些激活工具已经可以用于激活pre-RTM和RTM分支的版本，这将威胁到Windows 7 RTM得防破解。

本来，今天就是微软从众多RTM候选版本中选出真命天子的日子，但现在看来，微软还在开发和编译RTM候选版本。
