 Malicious Software Removal Tool，也就是微软出品的恶意软件清理助手。由于杀毒软件的关系，平时可能大家都不怎么注意这款软件的作用。但其实，微软出品的软件几乎就没一个差劲儿的。就在一周内，这款工具删除了全球100万台计算机内的密码窃取木马。

该木马可以通过植入的方式窃取用户的各种用户名、密码甚至是信用卡信息等等。到目前为止，恶意软件清理助手已经清除了包括 Win32/Frethog，Win32/Bancos，Win32/Taterf，Win32/Lolyda和Win32/Koobface 在内的近100万台计算机上的病毒。
