 再过2周左右，也就是6月26日开始，一些PC厂商和经销商就会向购买Windows Vista Home Premium等版本的用户提供Windows 7升级了。不过这样的升级到底是否会免费，还是要取决于厂商自身的。

不过，目前已经有3家台湾厂商宣布将会为6月26日后购买预装Windows Vista Home Premium，Bussiness和Ultimate笔记本和台式机的用户提供免费Windows 7升级。不过由于微软还没公布自家的Windows升级计划发布日期，为了不破坏与微软的合作关系，这3家厂商都没有公布名称。

PS：最近打算入手新PC的用户可以稍微缓一缓了。

据这3家厂商透露，PC厂商每升级一台Windows 7，就需要向微软支付9-15美元的费用。用户可以通过在线下载的方式进行升级，同时，还会收到微软邮寄的Windows 7光盘。

此外，也有独家消息称，6月26  - 2010月1月31日这个升级期限主要是为了鼓励消费者在Windows 7发布前购买新机器。
